          What we already know: Based on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor news

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and is to be ready sometime in March of 2023 and the release soon to follow. We also have the teaser trailer and are expecting a second trailer between now and 2023. Here is a description of the game from the official Star Wars website:

“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Developed by the veteran team at Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor will expand upon iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, and characters, and thrilling combat first experienced in Jedi: Fallen Order. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches in 2023.”

                      Characters that we can confirm

                                     Characters From Jedi: Fallen Order

1. Cal Kestis is the main charater of Jedi: Fallen Order. He will for sure be in Jedi: Survivor.

2. B-D-1 is Cal’s droid and friend and will defenitly be in Jedi: Survivor.

That’s all I can really confirm for now. There may be more characters that we had seen previously in Jedi: Fallen Order. They also may pop up in the new trailer coming out in between now and 2023.

There is also a book coming out called Jedi: Battle Scars that bridges the five year gap in between Jedi: Survivor and Jedi: Fallen Order. It comes out March 7. Make sure to check that out.

 

 

                                      New characters

                                               Characters from Jedi: Survivor

1.    The Imperial senator: The Imperial senator’s species is known as a Pau’an. You see him in the first part of the trailer. The stormtroopers bring Cal’s light saber to him in a case to his office on Corasant. This character is very interesting for the game. Can’t wait to see what role he plays in Jedi: Survivor.

2. Human in bacta tank: In the trailer for Jedi: Survivor there is a man, or possibly a woman, in a bacta tank who could be almost anyone. I did a little digging on who this new character may be. If you’d like to hear some theories, stick around for the end of the article.

3. The IG-100 magna droid: This droid was seen in the new line of Jedi: Survivor toys. Their main role would be to protect Count Duku and General Grevous.

4. The Imperial shock trooper: This character was in Jedi: Fallen Order but just got an upgrade. The Imperal shock trooper is going to have a shield and a blaster, as seen in the new toy line. That will make them a more fun enemy in Jedi: Survivor.

5. The Imperial security droid: The Imperial security droid, that you first meet when you break the wookies out on Kashyk, now has a shock baton, also seen in the new toy line. Very interesting approach for Jedi: Survivor. Can’t wait to see that!

6. Dark Jedi, sith, or bounty hunter: Cal fights a dark Jedi, bounty hunter or sith and loses his lightsaber to this guy or girl. This person may work for the Empire-- how else would the Imperial senator get Cal’s light saber? But this is also just a guess, not confirmed.  

7. The battle droid: The battle droids are back for Jedi: Survivor. This droid was just released as a Black Series figure and was first introduced in Phantom Menace to fight for the trade fedaration.

 

 

                                                                                                               Rumors, Leaks, and Guesses

(Note: The things that are listed may or may not be true. They are rumors, leaks, and guesses.)

There is a rumor that Night Sister Merrin of Dothomir may be a second playable character. This is definitely a posibility since Merrin is such a popular character for the players of Jedi: Fallen Order. Also, I found out that Tina Ivlev (the actress who plays Merrin) is listed in the Jedi: Survivor cast. The posibility of Merrin being a second playable charater is 70%. The other 30% chance is that she is merely used as a story companion, as she us in the first game. Or perhaps she is used in flashbacks.

Another interesting thing to note is that the guy or the girl in the bacta tank is mising an arm and so is the dark Jedi/sith/bounty hunter.

The actor who plays Greez Guridus is also in the cast, so seeing him later is possible. It’s a 70/30 chance that Greez could also be used in flashbacks. Only time will tell. 

As you can see in the trailer, the Stinger Mantis (Greez Guritus’s ship) has crashed. Perhaps it has something to do with the Empire and thats why Cal’s crew is missing. To add on to my last guess, I’ve heard that maybe the crew gets captured by the Empire and Merrin and Greez have to escape and that’s how Merrin gets her second player option.

The person who plays Cere Junda is not in the cast list for Jedi: Survivor that I’ve seen. We don’t know if this is purposeful or not, meaning: Is the actor not available, or is the character not involved in this storyline?

Also, planets. One thing to know is that we might see a return of Ilum because he loses his light saber.

Now, for the person in the bacta tank. This one is the hardest. I have heard a lot of guesess on who it might be but the only convincing one is that its Taron Malcose, the former Jedi and Dark Jedi that traveled to Dathomir after the purge. But Taron Malcos was buried alive by the Night Sister Merrin, so either he survives (another reason the game is called Jedi: Survivor), or he has a clone. My guess is that it’s Cal’s clone. It’s not a very good one but it kind of looks like Cal. Also, the shot where you see the guy or girl’s face in the bacta tank is followed by a shot of Cal’s face. Is this a coincidence or not?

There is a possibility for a love story between Cal and Night Sister Merrin and I think this would be a very cool, yet very interesting, story line. There is also a possibility for Merrin to be Cal’s padawan. Also very cool. So who knows? Us fans will just have to wait for…
